The Institute for Maltese Culture and the Institute of Cellular Pharmacology (ICP) is inviting applications for the second award for the promotion of science, the Marie-Amelie Gleizes Dewavrin Award for Science.
The award aims to recognise Maltese people working in the area of science who have excelled in promoting their work abroad and in so doing helped improve the image of Malta and its scientists internationally.
Applications will be adjud-icated by a panel of of international scientists including Prof. Michel Franck from the Veterinary School of Lyon, Jean Alexis Grimaud, professor of medicine Paris VI, Jean Pierre Gauthier, professor at the University Claude Bernard, and Carmelo Agius, a professor at the University of Malta and recipient of last year's award.
The panel is chaired by Prof. Peter Serracino Inglott and assisted by Dr Tonio Fenech.
