Chance to meet with Sheffield United stars

Sheffield United FC, the oldest professional football club in the world, arrive in Malta on Tuesday for its pre-season tour - and The Sunday Times is offering 10 readers the chance to meet the players.

The English Championship club, sponsored by the Malta Tourism Authority, has announced a full programme of activities open to locals and fans travelling from abroad.

On Thursday evening, a Blades charity event in aid of the Inspire Foundation will take place at the Excelsior Yacht Club, Floriana.

Guests will have the opportunity to mingle with the players while being entertained by Ira Losco and Sheffield band Craine.

The Sunday Times is offering the chance for five readers to win two tickets each to the charity event at the Excelsior Yacht Club on Thursday evening. To enter, simply answer the following question: What is the name of Sheffield United's stadium?

The finale to the tour will be a match between Sheffield United and Maltese Premier League club Floriana at the Hibernians Stadium on Friday at 7.30 p.m.

The club has promoted the tour heavily with fans since the dates were announced and regular updates of the tour can be found on the club's website.

Sheffield band Craine will be travelling with the team as part of Malta Music Week and will be performing on Tuesday evening in Bugibba's main square.
