Cardinal Ennio Antonelli visits Gozo

The Pope's special envoy, Cardinal Ennio Antonelli, celebrated Mass last Sunday at the Collegiate Basilica of St Peter and St Paul in Nadur. The cardinal crossed over to Gozo on a private yacht.

He also visited Munxar and met people at the parish church. On both occasions the charismatic cardinal was given a warm welcome and mixed easily with people.

Cardinal Antonelli was in Malta for the celebrations marking the end of the Pauline Year.
