Rescue and recovery
On May 25 I had a serious accident at sea while snorkelling off Gozo. In less than 30 minutes after calling for help, the rescue services airlifted me by helicopter to Mater Dei Hospital. I was quickly stabilised and I am still being treated for my injuries. I wish to thank the rescue services for their professional work and all the staff at Mater Dei for their dedication. We are lucky to find these people in times of need. I also thank my family and friends for their care and support.
