Regulated moorings are required

For the last 10 years I have been mooring a small boat that belongs to my family at Tal-Ghazzenin Bay in St Paul's Bay.

A few days ago I dived in the same place to prepare ropes and I left the boat tied to the same mooring that we have been using for a long time. When I returned, our boat had been moved by an unknown person, tied to two bricks at sea.

The aim of my letter is to call on the Malta Maritime Authority to organise and regulate all moorings, issue an annual fee, give first preference to the fishing boats and stop the abuse whereby unregistered moorings are sold.
