Need for bus shelter

Come rain, come shine, relatives and staff exiting Mater Dei Hospital en route to Sliema and other destinations around this beautiful island, are being obliged to bear the brunt of extreme weather conditions because a shelter has not been provided for public use on this side of the terminus.

I saw an elderly woman and her daughter whom I could almost swear was pregnant, weathering the rays of the pitiless afternoon sun for a good 20 minutes waiting for the bus to arrive. The younger woman held her head on the bus seat throughout the trip feeling quite dazed.

There is plenty of space for such a shelter to be erected. Please opt for it.

I fully agree with your letter.
It is up ta ADT to do a bus shelter there.
Can you beleive that there's not even a public toilet for the bus drivers.
That's state of the art .
