A truly selfless environmentalist
I was very shocked to read that architect Robert Musumeci has requested the police to investigate Astrid Vella.
In a recent case that we Mosta residents were faced with, we found nothing but closed doors until we approached Ms Vella. She gave us advice and support unstintingly and at no point did she ever ask for any payment. I doubt if the same can be said of any other professional.
Thanks to her help and advice we succeeded in getting what was rightfully ours and preserving our surroundings.
I am sure that the police have many other serious things to do than to investigate someone as civic minded as Ms Vella.

Ms Vella is 100% involved in trying to protect what little is left of the heritage of Malta and Gozo and the environment. That someone should try and sue her and have her 'investigated' is laughable, if it wasn't so sad. The majority of the population is behind you Astrid!

I hope that when people are voting, they remember who the pro-environment candidates are, and those who are not.
Ms. Vella is working tirelessly for all of us – the least we can do is to support her by ensuring that we do not vote for the people who try to block her brave efforts.

Such a shame, when our police force are busier fighting crime. What a waste of time- theirs and Astrid's.

I agree with you 100%, Anna. Malta is fortunate to have someone as dedicated to her country's well-being as Ms Astrid Vella. She deserves all the support and encouragenment she can get, to 'outshout' those who, for reasons best known to themselves, are trying to silence her.

Astrid has gained the Nation's respect , she also has the "honest section" of the population 101% behind her !
