Cat and mouse? No, it's kitten and rabbit!

Video: Jennifer Mifsud

Pila the rabbit will no longer be spending the days lying lazy in the middle of 'his' yard.

Since last Friday, his attempts at dozing off for a peaceful siesta came to an end when PussyAnn the kitten was found abandoned in Pembroke by Pedro Griscti - a member of the Funny Farm Horse Rescue Association - who gave the kitten to his girlfriend for her to keep.

The two pets have become inseperable, also sharing the same bedding at night time.

Lovely video and yet some people have no qualms about eating such sentient beings.

@ I galea

I've seen documentaries wherein a lioness raises an impala, and a tiger two piglets..

but then, it can only take an animal (not of the homo-sapien type) to show such bonding!

Mr. Karl Consiglio, before thinking about a 'fenkata', have you ever considered leaving out the 's' from your surname? Smile!
Jan Sammut (on 2/7/09)
the rabbit doesn't look too amused
Miriam Soler (on 2/7/09)
Poor rabbit, had to play dead for the kitten to leave him in peace, nice video anyway :)

Try putting a hyena, lion or what have you with them.

Next week we will hear that the kitten ate the Rabbit.

How cute and lovely!

This has nothing to do with racism but with a lot with specism. Humand think they are the crown of creation. The fact that our species is taking over leaving little in its wake for other animals. These poor animals need our protection because they have been removed from their natural habitats and are now at our mercy

I hope the little kitten has a long and happy life and a family to love her, as should all pets.

And the rabbit, I hope thata someone does not have any ideas about a fenkata!

Please let us have more animal news! I tired of hearing about humans.

Its amazing how clever animals are, so clever they don't even speak. I wish the news was always like this.

Cats and rabbits make quite good friends as they are both sociable animals. How cute hehe
Anthony Mercieca (on 1/7/09)
Harmony brings more than a smile. Different animals too can make it together - funny no racism exists.......but not us humans even colour frightens us!!!!!!
Moira Heath (on 1/7/09)
Inseparable my foot. The rabbit just gave up trying to get away from the annoying kitten and decided to sit still and let him get it over and done with.

"Dobbiamo stare sempre cosi', VICINI VICINI".

lol.

Wow what a great video, well done. It's worthy of a posting to YouTube tagged Cat and Rabbit Play
