Banif launch 3-year deposit account

Banif Bank has launched a 3-year term deposit account paying a minimum guaranteed interest rate of 3.475% gross per annum. Depositors will be able to earn a better interest rate if the rates increase.

Joaquim Silva Pinto, Chief Executive of Banif Bank said the new account showed that Banif could come up with innovative products and confirmed its commitment to give its clients safe and profitable options.

"We strongly believe that this is the right way to approach the market and the feedback we are receiving confirms that we are on the right track".

The product is available at Banif branches in Attard, Gozo, Qormi, San Gwann , St. Paul's Bay and St. Julian's and the Malta Trade Fair. All those opening the account at the Malta Trade Fair will also be given a gift.

The Special 3-Year Term Deposit is a limited offer which is valid until July 6 and requires a minimum opening deposit of €5,000.
