Two held after hawker has van stolen in hold-up
The police have arrested two men after a hawker had her van stolen in a hold-up on the Rabat road in Fleur-de-Lys.
The hold-up took place at about 2 p.m. when two men, who were armed but not hooded, approached the hawker and stole her van.
Following intensive investigations, the van was found at Mriehel and the two men were arrested. They are expected to be taken to court in the coming days.
Magistrate Silvio Meli is holding an inquiry.
