Police arrest suspected thief after warning shot
The police had to fire a warning shot earlier today before chasing down and arresting a suspected thief in Bahar ic-Caghaq.
The case started when a Mobile Squad patrol noticed the man acting suspiciously in a car. When the man noticed the police, he got out and ran.
The police gave chase and needed to fire a warning shot before the man was arrested while trying to hide in the grass.
A number of laptops, monitors, PCs, cameras and stereos were found in and near his car. They are believed to have been stolen.

Highway roberies are taking place too frequently. Stopping people in the street in broad daylight and robbing them of their goods, their money, their merchandise. Threathening their victims with rudimentary arms such as knives, is that not high way robbery? It sounds as if narcotics are becoming scarcer or more expensive or more adicts are roaming the streets. Let us hope the work of the police is not being stretched beyond its capacity..
