After having launched his own eau de toilette – Sweat – on the local market, local party organizer and deejay Steve Caesar has now launched a range of wines – Caesar’s Vin – which are available in two varieties.

Caesar’s Vin Blanc is a white wine made from a selection of different grapes with particular characteristics that complement each other. The grapes are delicately pressed so that the bitterness in the peal is not absorbed during the process. It is left to ferment at a controlled temperature so that it maintains its fruitiness and acidity, both highly important when making a white wine. No maturing is used in the barrels or bottles so that the wine can be appreciated for its fruitiness especially when it’s young.

This results in an elegant fragrant wine with distinct citrus aromas of limes, grapefruit and a slight grapey hint. It is medium bodied with a fresh acidity and a persistent finish. Caesar's Vin Blanc, with its Mediterranean character, is ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to antipasti, seafood, salads and light pasta dishes.

Caesar’s Vin Rose is a semi sparkling Rose wine made from the Gellewza grape which is traditionally harvested in the first week of September. After crushing the grape the peel is left with the juice for a short period of time so that the wine takes a light rose pigment. The wine is left to ferment at a controlled temperature where once again the emphasis is on the concentration of fruit.

Even this wine is not matured. This results in a sweet with a smooth wine, with a well-balanced aroma reminiscent of strawberries and raspberries. Its style appeals mostly to the young generation, especially those that prefer a sweeter wine.
