The Norwegian Kolbotn-Garden marching band and majorettes, made up of about 50 girls aged between seven and 18, yesterday marched through Republic Street, Valletta to mark their 50th anniversary.

They will march along Victory Square in Vittoriosa along with the Cospicua scout group band this evening at seven and will perform again tomorrow at 11.30 a.m. at It-Tokk, Victoria, on Tuesday at 10.30 a.m. in St Paul's Square, Mdina and on Wednesday at 8.30 p.m. at Tower Road and Għar id-Dud, Sliema.
