Woman charged with injuring warden
A 58-year-old housewife from Msida this morning pleaded not guilty of attacking and slightly injuring a local warden at 9.15 a.m.
Antoinette Fava was also charged with disobeying orders and breaching public peace.
The court heard that the woman was given a parking ticket by the warden. She admitted that she had parked illegally on a corner. An argument broke out between the warden and Ms Fava who, allegedly, pushed the warden and injuring her eye during the scuffle.
Defense lawyer Anglu Farrugia told the court that the incident was not as bad as the police had made it out to be.
Ms Fava was granted bail against a personal guarantee of €5,000.

When shall we learn that in a complex social setting, like a modern society, we have to abide by the rules, and not by our opinions?

What is it with the fairer sex they seem to get away with murder, i say book her, i'm not sexist but had that been a male there would be no questions asked a tciket straight away, so if women wants to be equals 50/50 they must pay the price and that also goes in the work place and also when buying a wround. Fair is Fair agree Guys?

So this "woman" admitted to parking illegally--- and expected to get away with it?
