Valletta recovered from their defeat to Hibs by defeating Birkirkara 2-0 in their Euro Cup match last night. In the other match, Sliema and Hibs featured in a 1-1 draw.

The goals for Valletta both came from Leon Kantelberg in either half.

Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza scored for Sliema early in their match against Hibs but Cohen levelled matters before the break.
