Special offers from Bank of Valletta

Bank of Valletta is introducing a wide range of special offers for the summer months, including various benefits on personal loans, credit cards, home loans, stockbroking services as well as investments. The bank is making these benefits available as part of its commitment to make financial services more readily available and at discounted prices, it said in a statement.

Favourable interest rates are being offered on all secured and unsecured personal loans, together with extended loan terms of up to six years for loans between €5,000 and €10,000 and seven years for personal loans exceeding €10,000. An optional three-month repayment moratorium is also available.

Customers can also apply for a BoV classic credit card with a credit limit of up to €1,000, or can request an increase in limit by €1,000 on existing cards when taking out a loan exceeding €10,000. No interest will be charged on credit card purchases up to the end of November for new credit cards.

BoV monthly investment plans are also part of this year's benefits. Customers taking up a monthly investment plan up to a maximum of €300 per month will not pay up-front charges if they also take out a BoV loan, a BoV Gold or Platinum Card or any new fixed deposit account with a minimum balance of €2,000.

Those customers interested in taking out a home loan will benefit from a 50 per cent discount on processing fees while those interested in investments will benefit from a 10 per cent discount on local stockbroking commissions.
