The Enemalta chairman said (June 18) that "the last blackout was on June 7, 2004 when the country had no power between 2.45 and 7.51 p.m.".
He presumably doesn't live in Gozo. If, by "blackout", he means a loss of electricity, he would know that it is a frequent occurrence here. Once in five years would certainly justify his description of the power failure as "extraordinary". How would he describe once every five days?
