The first summer school in Maltese linguistics was launched last week at the Foundation for International Studies, Old University Building, Valletta, organised by the Institute of Linguistics, in collaboration with the Department of Maltese. It will run until next Friday. Its main objectives are to enhance the Maltese language and to showcase research on various aspects of Maltese linguistics and applied linguistics.
