Two seriously injured in fight

A 20-year-old from Senglea and a 22-year-old from Cospicua, were seriously injured in a fight at Senglea Point late yesterday, the police said.

It said that officers on the scene found the 20-year old from Senglea being treated by paramedics. Investigations showed he had been involved in a fight with another man and several other people joined in.

Another man, a 22-year-old from Cospicua, was also seriously injured, while an 18-year-old from Cospicua,suffered slightly injuries.

None of them are in a critical condition.

Magistrate Audrey Demicoli is holding an inquiry.
