Pink tackles the serious issues

This month's issue of Pink, distributed with The Times tomorrow, helps move away from the more materialistic and superficial elements that can dominate people's lives and looks into the real issues - the serious ones - with stories of those who have to contend with Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis.

Pink also steps into a halfway house and meets the residents, struggling to learn how to cope with mental illness through the assistance of qualified and dedicated staff.

On a lighter note, a feature is dedicated to a number of women whose dogs have taken on an almost human status and are treated better than most mortals.

Their love is intense, the pampering profound.

Pink is a monthly magazine, whose executive editor is The Times journalist Fiona Galea Debono. It is published by Allied Newspapers Ltd, printed by Progress Press Ltd, produced by MediaMaker Ltd and designed by Helen Cassar Torreggiani and Manuel Schembri.
