Man injured in fall
A 65-year-old man suffered grievous injures in a one-storey fall at his residence in Birkirkara, yesterday, the police said.
The man was carrying out some work at his home in Domenico Cachia Street when he lost his balance and fell.
The police said they went to the spot at about 4 p.m. where they were informed that a man was lying injured on the ground.
The man was taken the Mater Dei Hospital in an ambulance.
The police, who are investigating the incident, said his injuries were not life threatening.
