Diabetes awareness, support

Daisy, a new support group for youth with diabetes, was launched at an educational event held last week at University to raise awareness about the different types of diabetes, as well as diabetes prevention and management. It was jointly organised by the Faculty of Education's Nutrition, Family and the Consumer Studies programme, Mater Dei Hospital's Diabetes and Endocrine centre, and the Malta Diabetes Association.
