Wine tasting
A wine tasting event was hosted by Lauro Abela, director of Franks Wine Boutique, at the newly refurbished Arches Restaurant. Matteo Galtarossa of Azienda Agricola Montecariano, Verona, launched a selection of Montecariano wines including Valpolicella Classico Superiore, Ripasso della Valpolicella and Amarone della Valpolicella. Mr Galtarossa spoke on the importance of the grape skin in the winemaking process.
