Vikings' Open day

The Vikings Sailing Club (VSC) organised their open day last month. During this annual activity, the VSC informs the public about the club's activities and the sailing courses for adults and children.

A record number of visitors attended this event, keeping the club representatives busy all day with sailing rides around Marsamxetto harbour. An attrac-tion this year was an old Maltese luzzu, which was rigged with sails for the occasion.

The VSC also caters for youths aged between 10 and 16 who can book through the Kunsill Malti għall-isport (KMS) Summer on the Move scheme to attend a sailing course during their summer holidays. KMS can be contacted on 2166 0658/9.
