Richmond overseas placements

Two Richmond Foundation employees - Stephanie Camilleri Galea and Joe Spiteri - were chosen to participate in a placement in the UK after a proposal submitted by the foundation was selected after an evaluation process by the Lifelong Learning Programme Selection/Grant Allocation Com-mittee.

The project, 'Enhancing Mental Health and Community Services', was proposed with the aim of exchanging knowledge, skills and practices in the field of mental health in relation to employment and housing.

Ms Camilleri Galea was offered a two-week placement by the Leonardo Da Vinci Mobility Programme, where she was hosted by the Dundee Council, while Mr Spiteri had the opportunity to visit various housing services in Somerset.

The Richmond Foundation will be evaluating the observations and experiences in order to adopt the best practices possible.
