Thief caught red-handed
A man was caught trying to steal a stereo from a bus parked at the Valletta bus terminus this morning.
The police said that a bus driver noted a suspicious man on a bus at around 10.30 a.m. and he boarded together with another. driver They caught the man trying to steal a stereo but as soon as he realised he was not alone, the thief escaped from a window which he broke for the purpose.
As he was jumping he lost a number of coins.
The traffic policeman who was on duty at the terminus arrested the 30-year-old man who holds Maltese citizenship but was born in Libya.
Nothing was missing from the bus the alleged thief had been on but a small sum of money was missing from one close by.

You underestimate Indian people's sense of humour. I have had so many good laughs with them about their house decor (which has nothing to do with the original Indian one!) and in return about our Maltese one.
However, you seem to be more of an expert when it comes to motivational speaking and concepts. 400, 000 people will confirm what you said about bus drivers. Their motivation, dedication, and work excellence is undisputed...and now (thanks to you) we know why.

Joe Fenech Firstly, there is no need to degrade Indian integrity. Secondly, bus drivers should be able to decorate their buses according to their religious or (humorous views), self actualization is an important feature within motivation, to speak to bluntly shows true ignorance.

Not only should stereos be removed, but now lets hope that the new bus companies do away with does religious figures, Elvises and all that tacky stuff which we see in buses. Our sense of decor is even less refined than that of working class Indians!

What is it with stereo sound system on Maltese buses?
Bus drivers should be focusing their attention on driving not listening to loud music .
So passengers can reach their destination safely.

Simple solution here.
Given his unique method of thanking the nation who accepted him and gave him dual citizenship, retract his Maltese citizenship, repatriate him and ban him from ever entering our country again.
If I were to do the same thing in his country of origin, I would most probably have my hand cut off.
