Flowers were placed near the house of one of the victims of the June 1919 riots in Triq Bullara, Xagħra.

Ġużeppi Bajada and three other people - Wenzu Dyer, Carmelo Abela and Manwel Attard - were killed during anti-British riots on June 7. The commemoration started with Mass by archpriest Carmelo Refalo at the basilica of Our Lady of Victories followed by the laying of flowers and the recitation of Fr G. Delia's poem by Joe Attard.

Miriam Christine Borg sang L-Aħħar Bidwi F'Wied Il-Għasel by New Cuorey and L-Emigrant by Carm Fenech. Trumpeteers Jason Camilleri and Stephen Borg of the Armed Forces of Malta played the Reveille and the Last Post.
