Jazz Festival sways to all tastes
Local and foreign talent will draw crowds
The Jazz Festival promises to get crowds swaying to salsa, bossa nova, a piano trio and the infectious grooves of gospel, blues and rhythm and blues.
Next month's anticipated festival will feature renowned bands in contemporary jazz and an eclectic programme to suit all tastes.
The Brad Mehldau Trio and Maraca will play on July 16 while the Oliver Degabriele Trio, the Kurt Rosenwinkel Band and Eliane feature on July 17 with the Dominic Galea Trio, the John Scofield Piety Street Band and the Miguel Zenon Quartet performing on July 18.
All performances start at 8 p.m. at Ta' Liesse, in the picturesque Grand Harbour in Valletta.

Gold numbered seats tickets cost €20 per night, silver one-day tickets €15 and two- and three-day silver tickets €30. Concession tickets for students and the elderly only for the silver area cost €10 for a one-day ticket and €20 for two- and three-day tickets.
