With regard to the letter Sexual Content In Films For Children (June 4), I think that parents need to know beforehand what their children are going to watch so that proper guidance can be given.

Therefore, parents should first watch films rated PG on their own, then decide if such films are decent enough for their children. I remember some videos I rented carried an explanation of the film rating and on PG films it was stated that the parents might need to watch the film before the children.
