CHI Hotels & Resorts is opening the newly built 351-room four star Tiran Hotel in Sharm el Sheik, Egypt on July 1. The hotel is part of the Corinthia Beach Resort.

Situated in one of Sharm’s finest locations in the heart of Montazah, the resort offers diving and conference experience.

The rooms and suites come with sea and mountain views, two restaurants, three bars, an extensive landscaped outdoor pool and children’s pool, a kid’s club, an amphitheatre, a business centre, an internet café and a spacious conference hall with adjoining syndicate rooms. It has a private beach featuring relaxation facilities, dining and a Bedouin tent.

CHI’s chief executive officer and managing director Tony Potter said:

“At a time when hotel companies worldwide are considering their options in view of the current economic scenario, CHI Hotels & Resorts is confidently forging ahead with its plans of refurbishing and improving its existing properties, while opening more hotels in existing and key destinations across all three brands it operates, namely Corinthia Hotels, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Ramada Plaza hotels."

The company was also opening individually branded properties such as the Tiran Hotel.

"We are extremely interested in the beach resort concept in other locations around Europe. I am particularly pleased that we are opening our latest operation in Egypt immediately following last month’s successful opening of the new five-star deluxe Corinthia Hotel St Petersburg in Russia," he said.
