Malta to play Ukraine today

Malta U-21 resume their commitments in Group Eight of the UEFA Championship this evening when they play Ukraine away in Borodyanka.

This will be the team's second match of this qualifying campaign. In March, Edwin Camilleri's boys lost to Slovenia 2-0 at the Hibs Ground. For Ukraine, this will be their first appearance in the group which also includes France and Belgium.

In the build-up to this match, Malta U-21 beat the Tunisian Olympic team 2-1 in a friendly at Ta' Qali in April.

After today's match, Malta U-21 will then continue preparing for the Mediterranean Games in Pescara which start on June 26.
