Norman Lowell doubles vote but does not surpass AD
Norman Lowell
Norman Lowell has more than doubled his first count vote of five years ago but his party Imperium Europa has not surpassed the vote of Alternattiva Demokratika.
Mr Lowell said yesterday that he might "just surpass" the votes garnered by Alternattiva Demokratika in the European Parliament elections.
At 3,637 votes (3,559 for Norman Lowell) Imperium Europa increased its first count vote of five years ago by 2,034.
AD obtained 5,802 first count votes, against its 22,938 of five years ago.

Norman Lowell achieved much more than AD . Its obvious , AD has lost so many votes and so much support from what it had in 2004 .
On the other hand Lowell has more than doubled his votes . This shows that slowly but surely people are starting to listen to what he says .
Well done Norman and please never give up . You will only get stronger and although its disapointing that you did not get elected please be sure that your message is getting across and the proof is the fact that from 1600 votes from 2004 you have managed to more than double that number .
Mr Lowell was right about another thing , when he said that AD will be relegated to the dustbin of political history .

This is the inevitable result from utter inaction in the face of mass immigration. Unfortunately Malta has now been changed for the worse and the only solution for not only Malta but all of Europe is to vote for patriotic forces.
Wishing the best of luck to Norman and all European Nationalists in the future.

"Saving Malta from what, from who?"
Saving Malta from 'hippy philosophers' like you! Carry on dreaming...in the meantime, don't worry, let Malta sink even more!
Go an spend years living in the UK, France, Holland, Italy...etc and maybe you'll understand what Lowell is saying is all about. Or maybe you want to wait till we start having knifings, gang crime, violence in school... This is what these countries face EVERY SINGLE DAY!

@ Franco Farrugia: Save Malta from the illegal immigration problem, The problem that Norman saw it was coming to Malta 6 years ago unlike the 2 big parties which never spoke about it, Now hopefully wide awake they're starting to worry about it at least we heard something about it. I think we need to save Malta from people like you and those who tried sending him to jail for trying to save our country.

it's a shame Norman Lowell did not get elected,
still it goes to show that the Maltese people are happy with the way the immigration problem in Malta is being dealt with ..

I won't call him a prophet but lets face it, he said many things that had turned out to be true.Illegal immigration had become a massive problem and immigrants aren't seen by our politicians as a resource which should be paraded in cultural parties anymore.
Poor AD because their weak stance against illegal immigration had turned against them. Anyway if things doesn't work here there is always the Italian front for Mr Cassola and co.

@Dingli/Farrugia save Malta from the illegal immigrants that your Gonzi is letting take over our country and we need to save Malta from Gonzipn himself. Have you ever gone out in the streets to see hundreds of illegal immigrants roaming about? or do you just stay at home watching Net TV and defending Gonzipn in here?

The vote for PL was not the only "message" in this election.
Arnold Cassola alone got more votes than all of Imperium Europa and Azzjoni Nazzjonali put together. That's a message too.

@Clint Muscat
Let's say he was elected. How could he have 'saved' Malta?
Being a good satirist is one thing. I do not make fun of him, he's skilled on that and obviousy does it on purpose. But being a politician is a completely different story.

@ Muscat: What 'prophet' are you writing about? Saving Malta from what, from who? I think we need to save Malta from people like Lowell.
@ Gauci: It seems you have been out in the sun for far too long; have a break.

Percentage-wise Imperium Europa is the winner of these elections.
Don't forget that there were a vast number of voters who to this day didn't even know Lowell was contesting for MEP. Then Imperium's campaign was a poor one made mainly of a couple of ballons and Youtube clips against the millions spent by other parties. Still almost 4,000 voters, almost 2%, chose them for their number 1 - Well Done IE

You will remember the words of the prophet that once you made fun of him and called him mad! Then it will be too late, just keep watching and keep on doing the only thing you could do!!...Feel the regret of when you could have saved Malta and you didn’t!
