• The chapel of the Annunciation at Hal Millieri, and the church of Santa Marija of Bir Miftuh are open to the public today from 9 a.m. to noon by volunteers of Din l-Art Helwa. Admission is free but donations will be welcome. There will also be a lecture on natural heritage at Il-Majjistral Nature and History Park by communications officer and nature walks guide Annalise Falzon, at 133 Melita Street, Valletta, on Thursday at 6 p.m. (more information on page 41)

• Ward u Zghar are organising a walk for the public around Pretty Bay in Birzebbuga, followed by coffee. The meeting point is in front of Country Style today at 2 p.m.

• A eucharistic adoration will be held with the Archbishop's permission at Girgenti, Siggiewi, today at 6.30 p.m. by the Moviment Madonna tal-Konsagrazzjoni committee. For details visit www.ourladyofconsecration.org.

• The Malta Eczema Society will be holding a public talk on asthma and eczema. It will be led by Prof. Stephen Montfort at the Radisson SAS Hotel in St Julian's on Tuesday at 6.45 p.m. Light refreshments will be served courtesy of Actavis. Entrance is free.

• The next Mir prayer meeting takes place on Tuesday from 7.30 to 10 p.m. at St Helena parish church, Birkirkara. It consists of the rosary, Mass and adoration. Priests will be available to hear confessions. Those attending are asked to bring food to donate to Fondazzjoni Suret il-Bniedem, which cares for homeless people. • The History Teachers' Association's annual general meeting will be held on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the University of Malta Faculty of Education boardroom (Room 326). • YWCA (Malta) will be holding the monthly card/games/tea party on June 17 at 4.30 pm at the Imperial Hotel, Sliema. A business meeting will be held for all members on June 24 at their premises in Msida.
