Thief caught in Sliema office
The police arrested a man in Sliema this morning after he was caught stealing from an office in High Street.
He was held by officers of the Mobile Squad and the district police after a tipoff that the burglary was in progress.
The man forced his way into the office by breaking a glass pane. He was found in possession of cash, documents and other items taken from the office.
The man was treated at a health centre for injuries to one of his legs.
