Excelsior employees donated blood in the newly-refurbished NBTC mobile unit last week. Excelsior employees have been donating blood every four months for the last two years due to the much-needed blood transfusions. In fact, the NBTC mobile unit collects more than 3,000 units of blood per year and has become a vital source of blood collection.

Thanks to its complete refurbishment, the blood donation mobile unit now boasts of a range of high quality facilities powered by the latest technology including real-time access to donor database for safer blood donation, a high-tech pre-donation testing area and a four-person bleeding theatre, air-conditioning for donors' comfort and motorised couches.
