Grabbing the voters' attention
Political parties made their last attempts to woo the voters today, with no campaigning allowed after midnight tonight.
Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi held a final press conference and will attend a political discussion this evening.
Opposition leader Joseph Muscat toured the shops in Valletta and greeted supporters in Republic Street.
Azzjoni Nazzjonali leader Josie Muscat and Alternattiva Demokratika leader Arnold Cassola also held press conferences.
Of the other candidates, Norman Lowell, who kept a rather low profile during the campaign, changed tact today, with balloons bearing the Lowell name soaring over several localities including Blata l-Bajda. One balloon which drew a lot of attention was attached to this eye-catching monument near Luqa.

An original political campaigning!
The rich MLPN and other parties don't even dream of having one of their many campaign tools, exclusively featured in a newspaper!
A perfect demonstration, of not wasting Thousand of Euros on mega expensive billboards while the message can sill get through with a creative idea.
Nobody can say that Lowell's election campaign is not different, after all he is DIFFERENT!!!
