Social Policy Minister John Dalli told Parliament yesterday that the Housing Authority would, in the coming years, be building apartments to rent to individuals who were really in need of social accommodation.

He told Labour MP Chris Agius that this was to be the authority's policy for the coming years.

He said that in this context, the authority did not feel it should continue selling property to people living in such accommodation.
