Man jailed for theft

A man has been jailed for two years after he admitted to thefts from three houses in Sliema last month.

Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna jailed 46-year-old Louis Cassar of Birzebbuga after the prosecution and defence agreed that for him to kick his drug habit, he had to be jailed and follow a drug rehabilitation programme.
