Efforts put in by the Ministry of Resources and Rural Affairs and the Malta Environment and Planning Authority to ensure perimeter walls are built according to law, especially in terms of height so as not to block countryside views, seem to be bearing fruit. The owner, a ministry spokesman said, decided to modify the wall himself before the authorities moved in to dismantle it.
