Since January 1999, Mepa validated 30 applications for wind turbines two of which were decided and approved and two were withdrawn. The Prime Minister told Philip Mifsud (PN) that of the other 26 applications, 23 were still awaiting the case officer report, one is up for a Mepa board decision, one is being reconsidered and another is at the appeals stage.
