Casa lists MPs who stand to benefit from VAT reimbursement

A string of Labour MPs as well as two EP candidates stood to benefit directly from the Labour campaign for the reimbursement of VAT on vehicle registration tax, Nationalist MEP David Casa said today.

He told a PN activity in Gozo that those who stood to benefit should refunds be given included the leader of the opposition, MPs Chris Agius, Stefan Buontempo, Chris Cardona, Justyne Caruana, Helena Dalli, Michael Falzon, Michael Farrugia and Silvio Parnis; PL General Secretary Jason Micallef and EP candidates Claudette Abela Baldacchino and Edward Scicluna.

Mr Casa said these people had not declared their direct financial interest in the case and the PL was saying that whatever the outcome of the court case, the reimbursements would be made.
