A laptop computer was used to hide drugs which were carried to Malta from Girona in Spain on Saturday morning, the police said.

The laptop and the drug were found in a raid on an apartment in Rabat (Malta) on Saturday afternoon, the police said. Over 50 grams of cocaine were found.

Later on Saturday the police also found drugs in an apartment and a garage in Gżira. The drug consisted of heroin which was in packets ready to be sold.

Six persons were arrested yesterday afternoon during a party in the North of Malta after they were found in possession of ecstasy, cocaine and cannabis. One of them, a 26-year-old man from Qormi, carried 86 ecstasy pills, the police said.
