Over 200 primary and secondary school students participated in various workshops held during the recent open days at ACCESS Community Resource Centre. The theme for this year's event was the European Year for Creativity and Innovation.

This event was held over two days, one for primary school students and one for secondary school students. Participants came from Patri Wistin Born Kalkara Primary C, Dom Mauro Inguanez Senglea Primary C, St Francis Primary, Maria Immakulata Cospicua Primary C, St Margaret's College - Skola Sekondarja Subien Verdala, St Margaret's College - Lorenzo Gafà Boys' Secondary and De La Salle College.

These workshops included storytelling through the use of puppets, simulation exercises, discussions and painting.

Workshops were facilitated by staff from Appoġġ Smartkids Family and Childcare Centre, Appoġġ Cottonera Community Services, Day Centre for People with a Disability of Aġenzija Sapport, and the Employment and Training Corporation.
