Fiat's new mini-MPV now available
The Fiat Fiorino Qubo is now available for order in Malta.
With the same versatility as an MPV but boasting more compact external dimensions (3,959mm long, 1,735mm high, and 1,716 mm wide), it should attract a wide cross section of buyers.
It has a turning circle of less than 10 metres, making narrow city streets easily negotiable. There is a simple, functional dashboard with controls and instrumentation within easy reach and a cabin full of spacious compartments.
The Fiorino Qubo is available in two engines: a 73-bhp 1.4-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre multijet diesel producing 75 bhp along with a five-speed stick or six-speed 'robotised' automatic.
CO2 emission levels are less than 120 g/km, and if equipped with a particular filter, the emission levels can be reduced to 0.005 g/km.
Front passenger and side airbags, Isofix seats, colour coded mirrors and bumpers, split rear seat, full size spare wheel, air-conditioning and electric mirrors come as standard.

When this car appeared in Carmagazine.co.uk, the entry level price was £9,995 which amounts to approx €11,450
No wonder the public are shying away from the rip-off importers
