San Remo winner live in Gozo

Italian singer Marco Carta, winner of the San Remo festival, performed live during a two-hour concert at the Aurora Theatre in Victoria last night.

Carta shot to fame after he won the Italian talent show Amici di Maria de Filippi which ran from October 2007 to April 2008.

The singer won the prestigious San Remo festival last February with the song La Forza Mia, which went on to sell 70,000 copies in Italy in just one week, reaching platinum status.
