Tourist airlifted to hospital after falling off speedboat
A 48-year-old German woman, Wildschtz Pasqual, was airlifted from Comino to Mater Dei Hospital yesterday afternoon after falling off a speedboat, the police said.
The woman, who is holidaying in Malta, is reported to have suffered a spinal injury but was not on the danger list.
An AFM Alouette helicopter, with two combat-medics and rescuers on board, was deployed to airlift the tourist from Comino to Malta.
The police are investigating.
