An article about wardens spoke of their role in controlling traffic rather than collecting money in traffic fines.
What really upsets me in my road, Sir Arturo Mercieca Street, is that there is a no-parking area between 8 a.m. and noon and rightly so, the residents park there during the permitted parking period.
Practically every day close to the time that parking is not allowed a wardens' car pulls up to make some easy pickings: Anyone who is a little late in waking up in the morning to move the car starts the day with a nice warden's gift.
Now is this fair? Are we living in a police state?
