Alex Ferguson claimed his 11th Premier League crown this season after leading Manchester United to retain the title in England.

It is indeed no mean feat for the Scottish manager who achieved his impressive tally since the 'new league' was born in 1992-93.

The only player to figure in all 11 league titles was PFA Player of the Year, Ryan Giggs.

Manchester United now have a total of 18 titles, on a par with Liverpool.

Ferguson, 67, told reporters that next season his ploy would be to take over at the top of the all-time winners' list ahead of the rivals Liverpool.
