Alleged Panamanian drug trafficker remanded in custody
Panamanian national Nicolas Gabriel King Jimenez. 31, was remanded in custody today after he pleaded not guilty to importing 2kgs of cocaine hidden in one of his suitcases.
He arrived on a flight from Brussels on Tuesday. Customs officers x-rayed the suitcases and noted that one had a false bottom. A search revealed a package in silver wrapping and a plastic bag. It contained white power.
The man claimed he knew nothing about the drugs.
