Tony C. Cutajar's letter (May 23) under the heading San Ġwann Heritage Going To The Dogs refers. It would have been more appropriate and to the point if it were San Ġwann Going To The Dogs. Complainant claims that the cart ruts area "has been left in complete shambles and utter neglect". This reflects the state of all San Ġwann including the Kappara area, which has witnessed deterioration over the last few years. The residents are fed up and frustrated with this state of affairs. San Ġwann/Kappara residents should be patient for a few more days. The day of reckoning is fast approaching.
On June 6, these residents will use their democratic right to vote out of office the present council which, on many occasions, ignored their pleas. The time has arrived when the residents of San Ġwann/Kappara will speak loud and clear and their voice will be heard. San Ġwann local council ignored e-mails/pleas/complaints but the ballot paper on June 6 will not be ignored.
